Matt Westlake

At a young age I knew two things for certain. I'd have a left leg trying to beat me down daily & my camera would have to be in my hand to help ease the pain.

Photography for me has become a way to slow everything down and express myself visually in a world that for the most part... never slows down.

I am drawn to uncertainty and things that are unfamiliar. Seeking a challenge that will leave my head hanging until I grasp the concept with excitement. Struggle and hardships have there way of keeping me grounded; a subtle reminder of what it is to be human.
